Frostik ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed and operated by Honest Dev LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Session Data
Frostik records your cold exposure sessions, including duration, phase transitions, and timestamps. All session data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server.
1.2 Temperature Data
If you manually enter water or air temperature for your sessions, this data is stored locally on your device. No temperature data is sent to any external service.
1.3 Streaks & Achievements
Your streak history, achievement badges, and session statistics are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to any server.
1.4 User Preferences
Your app preferences (notification settings, breathing pattern preferences, display settings) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Session tracking: To record and display your cold exposure history and progress.
- Streak tracking: To maintain your daily streak and show consistency over time.
- Achievements: To track and award badges for your cold exposure milestones.
- Notifications: To send local reminders for your cold exposure sessions at your preferred time.
- Subscription management: To verify your subscription status via RevenueCat (see Section 4).
3. How We Store Your Data
All your data is stored locally on your device. Frostik does not operate any backend servers or cloud databases. There is no AI processing, no cloud sync, and no external data transmission of your personal session data. Your sessions, preferences, and history are saved to your device's local storage using standard iOS file storage and UserDefaults.
If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted.

We do not use any analytics SDKs, advertising networks, crash reporting services, AI/cloud processing, or data brokers. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party.
5. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
Frostik offers auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Weekly: $2.99/week
- Monthly: $4.99/month
- Annual: $34.99/year
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
6. Health Disclaimer
Frostik is not medical advice. Cold exposure carries inherent risks. Consult your doctor before starting cold exposure, especially if you have cardiovascular conditions, Raynaud's disease, or other health concerns. Frostik is a timer and tracking tool only and does not provide medical guidance.
7. Data Security
Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device encryption, app sandboxing, and Keychain for sensitive credentials. Since all personal data is stored locally, there is no network transmission of your personal data.
8. Your Rights
- Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times.
- Deletion: Delete the app to remove all locally stored data.
9. Children's Privacy
Frostik is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
